Of the 95 Farmers, 74 voted unanimously to approve the BOR’s recommendation to form a non-profit State of Georgia C Corporation for Skidaway Farms. This vote represented 125 of the 154 paid-plots in the Farm. The BOR is working on the Articles of Incorporation so that the Farm can present these to the Landings Club in time to sign a new lease for the property the Farm gardens on. Becoming our own legal entity offers an exciting way forward for Skidaway Farms! Thanks to all of those who voted their support!

Don’t let your vegetables go to waste. Donate them to Second Harvest. Just let us know and while you’re away, we’ll make sure that the mature vegetables get picked and that the weeds are kept under control! The Farm’s Second Harvest manager, Marti Welsh has supplied pinwheels to mark your plot ….these are being stored on the Farm refrigerator in the pavilion. Place one of these pinwheels in your plot and send a note to Jane Kollmann at gardenher52@aol.com with the dates you’ll be away.
In the March meeting, the BOR voted to get the pavilion power washed to remove the mildew that has grown over the past year. This work was done by Jon Kotowski of SuperClean PowerWash. Prepping the wood. Keeping the Farm looking spiffy!
These two fellas are on the job once again…. A fun project is on the way for all to enjoy! Proud Crew! Happy Team 🙂 Her first visitors 🙂
