Fall Festival

The Pumpkins Got Carved…and we all got full!

Our first Fall Festival was fun!  The children got to show off their carving skills… it was a mushy, seedy job but well worth it!  All the pumpkins looked  a whole lot more awesome when the kids were done… and they’ll look down-right SCARY on the doorstep with a candle in them on Halloween!

There was music and lots and lots of food for our pot-luck lunch!  We Farmers do know how to eat well! The dogs were grilled to crisp perfection by Chef Rick… the homemade cole slaw by Chef Donna, sweet potatoe pies by Chef Linda, relishes by Chef Cathy, brownies, potato salad and garden greens salad by so many Chefs …well, the food was the BEST in town!  Thanks to all those who slaved over the hot stove last night to bring these culinary delights to us Farmers!  We ate to our hearts content!

Now, don’t forget about tomorrow…

Bee at the Farm –  Sunday at noon!

Sunday at noon, beekeeper, Greg Stewart will be on-hand to extract honey from our European Honey Bee hives.  You’ve got to see how this happens!

Join us y’all!  It’ll beee awesome! (10/13/12)
